PAUL L PHILLIPS - BACKGROUND
I was raised on the mission field in Zimbabwe, Africa. Since giving my life to Christ at age seven, God has been teaching me the meaning of fully Trusting in Him.
It's been a tough road. Even so, I still desire a deep and intimate relationship with my "Daddy" - Artistic Worship is now the result and the passion of my life.
I have asked God to give me His eyes to see people the way He sees them as I am learning how to also be His Hands...
The joy I receive when I am able to speak or paint those words of life and healing over people is overwhelming.
ARTISTIC MEDIUM
I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, pencil and wax crayons, colored markers, photography, and electronic art and video using Adobe Creative Cloud. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
INSPIRATION
God gifted me with creativity. I complete the cycle of creativity when I create. Using color is a Spiritual and symbolic experience so I believe in using bold colors in my art. The process of creation therefore becomes a Worship experience.
My life experiences are my major inspiration (look for 'the heart' in most pieces).
